She also stars in new Disney Channel Original Series Camp Rock. Demi Lovato was born in Dallas,Texas, her parents are Patrick Lovato and Dianna(nee hart). Demi is Hispanic Irish and Itialian descent. She has 2 sisters Dallas Lovato which is also an actress and a singer,she is 5 years older than Demi. Demi also has a half sister which is 10 years younger than her,name is Madison DeLaGraza. Her mother Dianna was a Dallas Cowboys cheerleader and a country recording artist her father Patrick moved to new mexico after there marriage ended in 1994,he suffered health problems and hardly sees Demi until Demi recently surprised him by visiting in February 2008. Demi is home schooled by a tutor due to her career. She started her career at age of six. Demi makes youtube videos with best friend Selena Gomez at www.youtube.com/therealdemilovato. Demi favorite colors are Red and Black. She wears a purity necklace followed by her bff Selena Gomez and the Jonas Brothers but they wear rings. Demi knows how to play the guitar piano and she writes her own music such as the songs "Open", "Stronger", and "Shadow" which shadow has been featured in As the Bell Rings.

Demi, 16, has been touring with the Jonas Brothers this summer and recently shared about a fall she took during a show! “I fell at a show this one time,” she laughed. “Actually, I’ve fallen several times — like, four times already. But this one time I fell, it was the only one that made Perez Hilton and YouTube. I didn’t think anything of it when it happened. I just laughed it off onstage. But the next day, I see that it hit the Internet, and I was like, ‘Nooooooo.’ It totally stung, because I wasn’t expecting it. But I didn’t get hurt, and Joe [Jonas] helped me out a lot with that.
